Banks
Estreat reads charges so it can tell you which ones have no receipt. It can never move money. Sign in happens at your bank, not here.
Accounts
Spending accounts are the ones checked against receipts. Mark an account as deposits and its money in is left alone, because revenue has no receipt and must never be counted as a deduction.
When a receipt is needed
Asking for a receipt against every charge is how the list stops meaning anything. The IRS does not require one below 75 dollars for most expenses, and a vendor that bills you will never produce a slip to photograph.
Vendor rules
A rule matches on a vendor name and, if you want, an amount. What it does is written beside it: set a Schedule C line, excuse the receipt, or both. Rules apply past and future. Set the line from a charge on the Review page. Typing a name here excuses that vendor from receipts.
Face ID and passkeys
Enrol this phone or laptop and you sign in with your face or fingerprint instead of waiting for an email link.
Businesses
Every receipt is filed under one business. The default is used when nothing else is chosen.
